It was on a beautiful late summer day with a ESE light breeze that we finally held the last postponed regatta of the year.\u00a0 10 sailboats crossed the starting line between our “B” mark and Ile aux Tortues to head towards the eastern “No Wake” buoy of the Oka marina, rounding it to starboard, then on to our “F” mark and finishing at the starting line.\u00a0 In total, a 10.5 nautical mile course that took the leaders a little under 3 hours to complete.\u00a0 The gorgeous weather held through the race and the time it took\u00a0to savor a bottle of Normandy cider that Jean Martin opened afterwards.\u00a0 A wonderful end to the Saturday races of 2016.
