The stunning waters of Lake of Two Mountains, the most beautiful sunsets on the Island of Montreal, and the club\u2019s unique location make it a dream destination for sailing.<\/p>\n<p>But what truly makes the club special is the spirit of camaraderie and mutual support that prevails, the unforgettable celebrations, shared dinners, and fiercely contested regattas. The personal involvement of each member in the club\u2019s community-based model, its management, and organization makes it much more than just a place to dock a sailboat\u2014it is truly a social network in its original sense.<\/p>\n<p>A heartfelt thank you to all club members who continue to uphold tradition, dedicating their efforts, skills, and enthusiasm to sharing the love of sailing.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Philippe G\u00e9linas<\/strong><br \/>\nCommodore<\/p>\n<div style=\"margin-top: 40px;\"><\/div>\n<hr \/>\n<h3>Here is a list of some general information that can better guide you.<\/h3>\n<p>THE <strong>CLUBHOUSE<\/strong> is reserved exclusively for club members and their guests.<\/p>\n<p>You have at your disposal: stoves, fridges, freezer, microwaves, etc. You can leave your food, clearly identified with your name, in the fridge during the time you are at the club. Dishes, cutlery, and pots are furnished and must be washed, dried and put away after each use. There should never be dishes left in the sinks. The Clubhouse is not available for private usage during spring and fall operations.<\/p>\n<p>The clubhouse can be reserved for personal use, on weekdays only. A request must be made to the Administrative Council, one month in advance.<\/p>\n<p><strong>HARBOUR<\/strong> unless an emergency, no boat will be tolorated under sail.<\/p>\n<p><strong>THE BBQ\u2019s<\/strong> are at your disposal. Our concierge Andr\u00e9 will be happy to change the propane tank or supply the charcoal.<\/p>\n<p>I<strong>CE is available<\/strong> for $2.00 per bag.\u00a0\u00a0 You will find a box to put your money in at the ice fridge under the patio.<\/p>\n<p><strong>TABLECLOTHS AND LINENS<\/strong> must be placed in the clubhouse laundry basket once they are soiled. Our concierge will take care of the laundry.<\/p>\n<p><strong>THE TELEPHONE<\/strong> and <strong>INTERNET ARE AVAILABLE<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>THE <strong>RADIO<\/strong> must be turned on to channel 68, in case a member is having difficulty. 24\/24<\/p>\n<p><strong>THE SERVICE BOATS<\/strong> are locked, but are available for use in case of emergency. The keys are on the board, near the radio.\u00a0\u00a0 After a rainfall, we are all responsible to empty these boats, so they remain ready for use.<\/p>\n<p><strong>DRESS CODE<\/strong>, shoes and shirts is a must,( NUDE BELLY IS A NONO \uf04a )<\/p>\n<p><strong>CHILDREN<\/strong> must wear a flotation vest and be accompanied by an adult whenever they are on the pier or the docks.<\/p>\n<p><strong>DOGS<\/strong> and other pets must be on a leash or kept on your boat.<\/p>\n<p><strong>YOUR MEMBERSHIP CARD<\/strong> can be used as identification in getting you accepted, free of charge, at other clubs. Details are at the clubhouse.<\/p>\n<p><strong>THE USE OF BBQ ON BORD<\/strong> is stricly forbidden in the harbour or any other area its use could affect security and wel-being of members.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<strong>L\u2019ESCALE\u201d MAGAZINE<\/strong> is automatically sent to senior members. The subscription for new members is done regularly.<\/p>\n<p><strong>SAILBOATS FOR SALE<\/strong> can be posted on our WEB site, free of charge. Signs on the boat will not be tolerated.<\/p>\n<p><strong>GARBAGE<\/strong> must be placed in the trash container. Please take all hazardous waste back with you for disposal according to the guidelines of your community. Let\u2019s keep our club clean.<\/p>\n<p><strong>RECYCLE BINS<\/strong> please use them only for recycling Paper, Plastic and Glass, Drink Cans\u2026.<\/p>\n<p><strong>WORKING ON YOUR SAILBOA<\/strong>T is permitted as long as it is dry-docked and covered with a tarpaulin. These measures are necessary to protect the neighbouring boats and property from noxious debris and stains. At all times, the cleaning of the site remains your responsibility.<\/p>\n<p>The use of risky material, such as paint or solvents, will not be tolerated in the port\u2019s interior. An accidental spillage of your product in the water could be catastrophic for the environment and also other sailboats \u2026<\/p>\n<p><strong>TURTLES<\/strong> come out of the lake around the end of June. They adopt our club as a place to lay their eggs. Please do not pick them up or try to put them back in the water. They are completely inoffensive. You will also find them on the parking, so keep your eyes open.<\/p>\n<p><strong>FISHING AND SWIMMING IN THE PORT<\/strong> are strictly forbidden, overall security situation.<\/p>\n<p><strong>SOCIAL ACTIVITIES<\/strong>. Volunteer members organize these events for your enjoyment. A prompt response to an invitation, either positive or negative, is greatly appreciated.<\/p>\n<p><strong>HALYARDS AND SHEETS<\/strong> whistle and tap against the mast when the wind blows. In response to a general request, please attach your halyards to the mast or shrouds, so we can have a peaceful port. Let\u2019s respect those who sleep on their boats.<\/p>\n<p><strong>NOTIFICATION OF A PROLONGED ABSENC<\/strong>E must be given to the harbour master. Please park your vehicle away from frequently used areas.<\/p>\n<p><strong>THE ENTRANCE GATE<\/strong> must be secured at the end of the day.
